Two music lovers come together, bring a DJ, a crowd, and tons of face paint into a tiny bar on U st, to create Afrobeat For Ya Soul!
Over the past 4 years, we’ve expanded into bigger venues and brought in live bands to create a vibe like no other in DC, a place were you can dance your worries away, and soak in music that will transfer you to another world.
… We put our soul into this party, while loving the people, the music, and feelings that emerged from the party, but we feel like it’s time for the last thursday night tradition to come to an end and to move onto new ventures. And to bring the love, vibes, and energy to a new fresh stage.
So we are inviting you to come, whether you’ve been there from the beginning, been only once, or never have been… to celebrate the life and love of this party.
