Canadian-born South African singer/songwriter Zaki Ibrahim has got her debut release Every Opposite spinning in my ears.  While her first single from the album, Heart Beat, was released over a year ago and my personal favorite, Something in the Water was released last December, this album was definitly worth the wait.  While house and electronic music have been taking over South Africa, Zaki brings a healthy dose of electro beats, with production done by  Tiago Correia-Paulo, all the while her vocal skills consistently shine threw.  Zaki introduces us to her album with the release of The Do which comes with visuals that gave me heavy hints of Black Swan.
