I’m was pleasantly surprised last week when I was asked to host Falling Whistles DC. I learned about Falling Whistles last year when they brought their campaign to dc. We were asked to put together a photo booth for the campaign highlighting their well known whistle blowers. They are back this year and I hope that you will come out and support their movement on Tuesday night.
Falling Whistles comes to Washington, D.C to host to raise awareness about the deadliest war in our world, and to launch a new initiative: The Face Campaign.
At 8pm on Tuesday, November 22nd, Tattoo Bar DC will play the host venue for an event coalescing young influencers from a cross section industries & communities of the from the DC metro area. The evening will feature 2 hours of eco-friendly cocktails courtesy of VeeV Acai Spirit, music by renowned DC party rocker DJ Eskay and a speaking appearance by Falling Whistles founder Sean Carasso.

The Face Campaign is reinventing the petition for the 21st century, inviting people worldwide to put their face behind peace in Congo. “Beyond the impersonal signature, this petition asks for your face. Your personality. Your desire for peace in Congo,” Falling Whistles founder, Sean Carasso explained. At www.fallingwhistles.com/faceand on an iPhone app, campaign supporters will take their photographs and photos of others. These pictures will be overlaid with the words: I want peace in Congo and then sent – one by one – directly to the White House.
All proceeds will benefit Falling Whistles as they invest in Congolese visionaries rehabilitating war affected women and children and advocate for peace.
Put your face behind history and run with us toward peace in Congo.
